windows - Issue when trying to connect to team foundation server -
I am quite new to Visual Studio and am trying to connect to a team foundation server. First of all I want to say that if I went to the URL of TFS in my browser and entered my credentials, then I get access to the code etc., so there is no problem in the credentials.
Actually what I did in Visual Studio 2012: Team Explorer - & gt; Connect to Team Foundation Server - & gt; Server - & gt; Add - & gt; Enter my credentials.
The login screen then appears, which indicates the username / password (which is very logic), although here I do not have access when I enter the same certificate. In that login screen, I can see a "domain" which seems a bit random, which I have just signed in when I install Windows and that domain has nothing to do with TFS.
As you probably have noticed I do not really know what the domain thingy does? Could this problem be that I can not connect to TFS server via Visual Studio but does it work through browser? Also, if I am connected to VPN at the place where TFS server is located.
I was just the exact problem connecting with TFS to VPN. I have not associated any problems for months Was, but I changed my Windows password in the office yesterday, and could not log from my laptop today.
It shows that except for my domain name I was in the credential box, so instead of my work - DOMAIN \ Itar I was just entering it in Iter.
(Below is a domain name - inappropriate - my wireless router was referred in.)
Once I enter my username in MY-WORK-DOMAIN \ Itar Done and entered a new password, then did all this work.
I'm sure OP Now, but maybe my answer would be useful for someone else.
