Spring sts with websphere -

I am trying to recover Spring STS from IBM rational application developer.

One of the first things I have seen is that when I try to define a webserver server runtime library it is not a list of webserver application servers and therefore I do not import a webserver library I can also note that it does not accept WebSpace (WebSpace 5.1 in my case) as a targeted sequence.

Is it possible to do these two things in Spring STS?

In addition, if STS is not possible in the spring, does anyone recommend an alternative IDE that can accomplish better work?

The common solution is installing the Eclipse plugin.

An alternative is used which still supports some older WAS versions.

However for webpage 5.1 you are out of luck. No one else supports this 8-year piece of software. You should really take a serious look at updating your webserver installation or migrating to a newer application server.

Hmm. Still thought that he still list the WAS5x support though I would not trust him.
